Auditions

Audition Requirements

All auditions are approximately 6 – 8 minutes long with the exception of percussion auditions which are approximately 15-18 minutes in length.

Note that returning students will indicate on the audition application form whether they plan to audition for the same orchestra or wish to be considered for the next level orchestra. Conductors will make a recommendation for orchestra placement regardless of what you select.  For example, if you are not ready to move to the next level, you can remain in your current orchestra.

Please bring 3 copies of your etude and solo with measures numbered to your audition
